Hidden away at the end of a small lane in the Queen St. mall, Brew Cafe is a trendy eating spot known for its great coffee and social buzz. The somewhat charming old orange floor had slowly deteriorated into a health and safety risk and had to be replaced. They wanted a fresh, easy-to-clean finish to fit in with the cool, edgy vibe; a marbled design did exactly that and sharpened the look of the place superbly.

Design Scope –
- Marbled design was chosen in a metal grey colour to replace the original flooring, which had slowly deteriorated into a health and safety hazard. The aim was to maintain the cool, edgy look and feel of the trendy eating spot while delivering a sound, fresh, easy-to-clean finish.
- Clear anti-slip topcoat was applied over the finish for easier maintenance and safer footing in the event of spills or splashes.
- Installation had to be completed within a 4-day window to ensure full-scale service could resume in time for the busy weekend.
- The original floor was in poor condition, suffering from extensive damage and cracking that required significant repair and levelling before another flooring could be applied over the top.
