Baskin Robbins felt it was time to freshen up the look of their store, including stepping away from the vinyl tiles used right around the globe. With bold changes being made right throughout the interior, the contractor was asked to create a signature floor in the new “heritage wall” colours. The marbled design that resulted looked just as irresistible as the sweet treats being served!
Client – Baskin Robbins
Location – West End, QLD
Floor Type –Ice Cream Store (Retail & Commercial)
Design Scope –
- Marbled design developed in collaboration with management over several weeks. The design brief was to create a signature floor in the same colours as the new “heritage wall” feature.
- Clear anti-slip topcoat was applied over the finish for easier maintenance.
- Installation had to be completed within a 3-day window to ensure fit out was finished and the opening of the high-profile corporate franchise was on time.
- The floor was a part of the chain’s plans to introduce a fresh, new look to their stores (including up to 100 across Australia), including stepping away from the grey vinyl tile used on their floors right around the globe.
Customer Feedback –
“The execution was excellent – the brief was delivered skilfully and complements our new interior design elements – which now includes the flooring as a key design feature.” Score – 9/10
